Sometu & Sombiz as an Google Wave testing/development community

Just now Google Wave is looking for beta users / developers for their Wave concept ((Google Wave to send out 100,000 invites in September)

In Sometu we have had a long tradition of testing different working environment and web tools. Could one concrete activity of Sometu / Sometu in business / Sombiz -cooperation to start using Google Wave as an tool of our communication. I think, Sometu / Sombiz would be perfect group of web users for testing Wave and maybe we could even commit a little bit deeper cooperation with Google (Finland) and that way have interesting connections and possibility to develope Wave also as a tool that sometu -people could use in our future activities.

What do you think. Could this idea be one topic for our sometu in business -meeting in 13.8 ?

Do we have members with Google connections? In the web -address https://services.google.com/fb/forms/wavesignup/ is form where everyone interested to be test users can send contact information to Google. Could it be any idea, that as many as possible of us would now send information there using that form and writing also in "Write a message to the Google Wave team" -box that is SOMETU network member . Permalink Reply by Juha Lassila 劳尤豪 on August 24, 2009 at 10:56am: AFAIK, currently Google Wave is available at the dev preview sandbox only. Meaning that it is the only place you can play with it. So, I would suggest that everyone signs up for the sandbox access. This way you'll get 2 accounts and start playing with it. And you don't have to "develop" anything, 'cause you can just learn and enjoy the Wave UI.; ▶ Reply to This
